Dryad went to Debi Minter, who sent me Calliope. They're

together here. Dryad is fabric, beads, orig  polyclay hands, polyclay face

using a commercial mold.

 

When we first got to China I had only supplies we'd brought--but some

plastic cocktail forks became the legs for this doll with head & body of my

original fimo beads, metal charms for hands, a few glass beads

These pics are of a piece I did in response to the poem "Overheard on a

Saltmarsh" The nymph is beaded cloth with polyclay face & hands, the goblin

beaded cloth with wired hands.

his was another run at the Salt Marsh nymph, but she decided to be a nymph

from Tom Robbins' "Jitterbug Perfume" instead.
